Bob

So, today's practice was all right [just for you, Kristy], despite the fact that we wasted a lot of time doing...nothing. We seem to do that more and more as it approaches crunch time.

For the safety of the band, we have created stage names. Matt's is potentially "Spike," Jason's is temporarily "Little Drummer Boy," and mine is "Link." The other two, as far as I know, don't have stage names, but I named Caitlin "CC," and Matt B. "Lead." Don't ask.

Well, that's a wrap about tonight. Peace out.

I think we've come to a consensus . . .

So things have been better. We need to start working harder. Not all of us are showing up and we need to. I shouldn't be talking, as I myself have missed several practices, but, granted, those several practices were at the beginning of the season, when there was little need to be at every practice. Time is of the essence. Where are my band members? Okay, but anyway, we've been doing well on the songs we know, we just need to learn some more! Anyway, that's my latest rant. Hopefully I'll have more to say later THIS week. Peace out.

Snow Fall. . . .snowfall?

Hey, it's me, I know it's been a while. We have only had one practice, but I guess I'd better tell you how it went. (Or didn't "went" as the case may have been.) When I arrived (about a half an hour late) there were only three members there. Matt, Caitlin, and Jason, and they were playing. . . .or should I say, attempting, to play "That Thing You Do". They didn't have a copy of the song so Matt couldn't sing the words or play the right chords. It sounded disastrous. I don't think we ought to do that song again in the first place. It's the equivalent of going to a popular band's concert and hearing the same song being played over and over again. Not cool, so, I think I convinced them not to play it. Now, we weren't really ready to practice, therefore, I suggested getting down what cover songs exactly we were going to play, which we did without much difficulty. However, I may have to check all the songs to ensure that we are not playing twenty of our thirty-five covers from the same band. I still haven't seen the finalized list. (In other words, there had better not be a finalized list until I've looked over it.) We need to practice this week(end) and work on our
you–didn't–really–think–I–was–going–to–give–away–what–we're–playing–do–you song.

The band wanted to go sledding today.
Number 1 Reason I Hate School: It leaves no time for sledding
Number[s] 2[-99] Reason I Hate School: Refer To Reason Number 1
Number 100 Reason I Hate School: What kind of sleep do you think I'm actually getting?

Well, it be time for my departure. Sorry this was a rather casual post. I was too tired to pretend to care about what I was writing on the official band blog. Good night. And remember, /S|M\ loves you. (That's: Sincere Mistake loves you [like The Recovery])

Natta.

An End To A Break

The band has much to do. We have been requested to play an entire stake dance. That's like two and a half hours of material. I don't think we are ready for that long of a stand, but Matt seems to think so. Well, we don't have much information, so I'll post again when I get some more, alright? Sound good? Good. Peace.

A Break

Okay, I'm back. Sorry it's been so long since my last post.

Well nothing is really happening, as you can tell by the title, but we have all been talking about a block party, so I think it appropriate to warn you all of an upcomoing gig, that, if you so desire, you may all come to. There is also a restaurant that is asking for bands to play. This will take a lot of hard work and we are tired from our concert and we all have a lot to do, so thus, we are taking a short break (who knows how long it might really be) and I will update some more in the future.

Sorry for the lack of info and enthusiasm, we're just smoked after our *cough* amazing concert!
